Aeroflot's "Flat Rates" Now in Operation in Yakutsk
Article:
Beginning May 2025, Aeroflot is set to extend its "Consistent Fare" program to several cities in the Far East, including Yakutsk, Blagoveshchensk, Anadyr, and Ulan-Ude, following the support of President Vladimir Putin.
This "Consistent Fare" program is a special offer for economy-class airfare that remains stable regardless of the departure date or the number of available seats, unlike standard ticket prices.
For residents of the Republic of Yakutia, the high cost of air travel between Yakutsk and Moscow is a significant concern, particularly during the summer months. A proposal to incorporate Yakutsk in Aeroflot's federal "Consistent Fare" program received endorsement from President Putin during a meeting with the airline's CEO, Sergey Aleksandrovsky.
This means that tickets for flights between Yakutsk and Moscow will be available at a fixed price, irrespective of the season or the date of purchase. According to Aeroflot's website, the cost of a ticket under this program is set at 15,500 rubles.
At present, the "Consistent Fare" option for Far Eastern residents on this route is priced at 9,200 rubles, although these tickets are not currently available for purchase. Beginning April 8, both "Consistent Fare" and standard tickets will be on sale. Flights are scheduled to commence on May 15.
