The makeover continues with a high-level front mudguard, lending the bike a proper dirt bike stance, and a color-matched flyscreen that adds not only protection but also visual harmony. The structural framework remains mostly unchanged, boasting the same tubular perimeter frame with a bolt-on rear subframe, 43mm inverted forks, and a monoshock with external reservoir providing 5.9 inches of travel at front and rear. Despite suspicions of increased suspension travel, Triumph opted to retain the same numbers as the X. The compromise, however, adds an 11-pound weight increase, bringing the total weight to a still-manageable 418 pounds wet.

The XC's appeal is rooted in its aesthetic transformation rather than what it can do differently compared to the X. The spoked wheels alone shift the bike's character, and the Racing Yellow colorway is a captivating choice, adorned with golden forks that harmoniously complement the tank color.
