Aschaffenburg Launches 'Family-Friendly Places' Initiative for Parents
A new initiative is launching in Aschaffenburg to support families with babies and young children. The project aims to help parents easily find places where they can breastfeed, feed, change, or use the toilet without any obligation to make purchases.
The initiative, called 'Family-Friendly Places', encourages businesses, cafés, and public facilities in Aschaffenburg to participate by displaying a special sticker. Interested businesses can contact the business office of Gesundheitsregionplus at [email protected] to join the project.
Participating businesses must provide a seating area for breastfeeding or feeding, a changing facility, or a free toilet. The Alzheimer Gesellschaft Aschaffenburg e.V. and the Disabled Persons' Commissioner of the Miltenberg district are among the institutions supporting the project and will display the sticker. More companies and institutions are expected to join in the future.
The 'Family-Friendly Places' initiative is set to make daily life easier for families with young children in Aschaffenburg. By displaying the sticker, participating businesses signal their commitment to providing essential facilities for parents and their little ones.
