The cultural hub of Brueggen is set to host an exciting exhibition titled "Unser Brueggen," from August 17 to September 30. This visual journey through the history of Brueggen will take place in the cultural hall of Burg Brueggen, and visitors can access it during the regular opening hours of the tourist information.

The exhibition, curated by Philipp Grotzke, features digitized and enlarged artifacts from his private collection, printed on high-quality Alu-Dibond and acrylic glass. It offers a unique opportunity to explore both familiar and long-lost views of Brueggen, shedding light on the significant transformation of the town in the 20th century.

Dominik Seifert, the 1st chairman of BRÜGGEN e.V., has been involved in the project since the beginning of the year, ensuring its success. The exhibition aims to evoke old memories and leave viewers in awe and fascination.

In addition to the "Unser Brueggen" exhibition, Brueggen is also hosting a series of cultural activities. The "Brüggen Klassiker – Open Air an der Burg" is an open-air music festival featuring performances by renowned artists such as Tarja Turunen, Subway to Sally, Kupfergold, and Aeverium.

Moreover, there is a cultural discussion event on democracy and art scheduled around August 27, 2025, under the theme "Unter uns." This event includes theatre, museum discussions, and concerts, aiming to strengthen art's role in society.
