City Maps for Solingen's Municipal Offices Now Accessible
This year, Solingen is gearing up for the much-anticipated return of Nikolaussingen, a heartwarming event hosted by City Works Solingen at the Walder Stadium.
Admission to the event begins at 6 pm, with the programme starting at 7 pm sharp. Visitors are invited to enjoy a serene moment of peace and contemplation, all while being entertained by the project choir and the symphonic wind orchestra of the local municipal music school.
As the night unfolds, Saint Nicholas, accompanied by two angels, will distribute gifts to visitors, adding a touch of magic to the evening. To keep the energy high, the Solingen Paladins footballers will lend their support to the event, bringing a sense of community spirit.
Food and drinks will be available from 6 pm, offering a variety of options to suit all tastes. Mulled wine and sausages will be on the menu, while there will also be culinary options tailored specifically for children.
Due to limited parking options, public transport is highly recommended for the event. For those who prefer to drive, please note that visitors are asked to bring bags no larger than A4 format for safety reasons.
In light of the current times, an expanded security concept will be implemented at Nikolaussingen this year. However, specific details on the additional safety measures for the event in 2022 cannot be provided at this time. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, we recommend checking local government websites, event organisers’ announcements, or local news reports around the time of the event.
Tickets for Nikolaussingen can be obtained free of charge at the box offices or by visiting www.solingen-live.de. They can also be printed out for convenience.
Join us at Walder Stadium this year for an unforgettable evening filled with music, food, and festivities at Nikolaussingen.
