In a celebrated event, Lara Rüter, a rising literary talent from Germany, has been awarded the prestigious Kranichsteiner Literature Prize for her debut poetry collection, "amoretten in netzen", published by Das Wunderhorn in 2024. Born in Hannover in 1990, Rüter studied cultural sciences at the University of Hildesheim and completed a degree in literary writing at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig. Her literary journey has been marked by several awards, including the Lyrikpreis at the 26th Open Mike, the Caroline-Schlegel-Förderpreis for essayistic writing (2020), and the Wolfgang-Weyrauch-Förderpreis at the Literarischer März (2021).
