Partnering with International House, a one-stop hub for foreigners in Copenhagen, Copenhagen Capacity intends to reach out to foreign workers across the nation.
According to Asbjørn Overgaard, Managing Director of Copenhagen Capacity, they aim to reach as many expats as possible, both currently residing in Denmark and those who have departed the country.
"We're making an effort to reach out to as many expats as possible. We actually want to hear from everyone who's been in Denmark, whether they're still here or have already left," Overgaard noted.
Dive Deeper
Our survey will delve deeper into identifying the reasons that compel foreign workers to depart Denmark, or what action could encourage them to remain.

Background
In the past four years, foreign workers have played a crucial role in strengthening Denmark's economy, contributing approximately 150 billion kroner to GDP in the first half of 2024, and occupying around 300,000 jobs. Overgaard emphasized that better understanding why a large portion of these foreign workers quit the country is a key focus for this year's survey.
Motivation
Not only will the survey assist in understanding the factors driving the turnover, but it also aims to gather new suggestions for strategies that could help retain these valuable workers.
According to Overgaard, he is hopeful that many foreigners who currently live or previously lived and worked in Denmark will contribute, so that Copenhagen Capacity, the City of Copenhagen, and Denmark itself, could implement more comprehensive policies to welcome and retain foreign workers.
Survey findings are expected to be released in mid to late April, Overgaard said.
