easyJet Boosts European Network with 27 New Routes, Adding Over 500,000 Seats
easyJet is set to bolster its European network with the addition of 27 new routes, including several connecting Germany and Italy. This expansion will bring over 500,000 extra flights, benefiting travellers across the continent.
From March 30, 2025, Munich Airport will welcome a new route to Rome-Fiumicino, with up to two daily flights. This addition alone increases the seat offer by over 500,000. Hamburg Airport will also see two new connections: daily flights to Milan-Malpensa and Rome-Fiumicino. Meanwhile, Düsseldorf Airport will gain a new route to Milan-Malpensa, with up to two daily flights. Frankfurt Airport will have two new routes: to Milan-Linate and Rome-Fiumicino, each with up to two daily flights.
This expansion is part of easyJet's strategy to strengthen its European network. The airline usually operates flights from Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, and Munich to Italian cities like Milan, Venice, and Florence, particularly in spring. The new Hamburg-Milan route is confirmed, and easyJet is a major player on the Hamburg–Italy connection.
easyJet's expansion includes six new connections between Germany and Italy in spring 2025. These new routes will provide more travel options and increase capacity, benefiting both business and leisure travellers.
