Harvest Festivals Across Mecklenburg-Vorpommern: A Celebration of Tradition and Fun
The charming towns of Kurzen Trechow, Zepliner, and Bützow are gearing up for their annual Harvest Festivals, promising a weekend filled with entertainment, games, and community spirit.
The Harvest Festival in Kurzen Trechow kicks off at the community center at 3:00 PM. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities suitable for children, as well as the soothing melodies of the brass choir. The festival concludes with a Harvest Ball starting at 8:00 PM, featuring DJ Roman on the decks.
In Zepliner, the mill farm sets the stage for the Harvest Festival, which begins at 2:00 PM on September 20th. The day is packed with events, including a traditional Harvest Thanksgiving service, brass music, carriage rides, mini-golf, a bounce castle, face painting, and a farm dance with DJ Doby starting at 8:00 PM.
Over in Bützow, the Harvest Festival at the Miniaturstadt leisure and family park starts at 10:00 AM on Sunday. In addition to the usual games and fun, this year's festival features around 20 flea market traders for the first time. The park's flea market is designed to cater to both adults and children.
A highlight of the Bützow Harvest Festival is the cake buffet, featuring delicious treats baked by local bakers from the Amt Bützow-Land area. The festival site will be beautifully decorated to reflect the harvest, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Visitors to any of these festivals have the chance to win high-quality prizes like a lawn trimmer, Kärcher, or leaf blower in the tombola. The tombola at the Harvest Festival in Bützow features products from Kajewski.
Throughout the weekend, music will be provided by Bernd Mildner and Margit Zikarsky, while DJ GrooveMaster takes the stage at the Trechower Harvest Festival on Saturday night.
With over 1000 visitors expected at this year's traditional Harvest Festivals, it promises to be a lively and enjoyable weekend for all. The organizers of the Trechower Harvest Festival advise bringing change for the children.
