Evening Gathering of Young Culture Enthusiasts in Euskirchen
The city of Euskirchen is set to host the Jugendkulturnacht NRW event from September 27 to 28, 2025, joining over 100 cities in North Rhine-Westphalia in celebrating youth culture. This two-day extravaganza, organised by the Jugendkultur Euskirchen e.V. in collaboration with the city of Euskirchen, promises a diverse and free program for young people aged 14 and above.
On September 27, the day kicks off with a series of engaging activities. From 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the Jugendvilla in Euskirchen will offer an interactive escape room, a quiz, archery, and a boxing taster session. No equipment is needed, making it accessible for all. For those interested in photography, a "Double Exposure" workshop will take place from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at "Simons Glück" at Kapellenstraße 35. Participants are required to bring their own camera or smartphone. Registration is mandatory for both events.
For the adrenaline junkies, a skate workshop will be held on the new skate park at Georgstraße from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Experienced skateboard trainers will be on hand, and helmets and boards can be borrowed or brought along.
The Knollenfest, a traditional event in Euskirchen, will take place from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. During the Knollenfest, there will be an opportunity to try out different instruments at the Tambourcorps Oberwichterich stand in the city center on both September 27 and 28, 2025.
Musical enthusiasts can look forward to a concert series featuring self-written songs from various music genres. A small concert series featuring young artists from Euskirchen will take place at the Alter Markt from around 2:30 PM on September 27, 2025.
The festivities continue on September 28, 2025, with the "Move your Story" dance workshop in the seminar room at Annostraße 31 in Euskirchen-Frauenberg from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
