Exploring Campsites: Waterfront Camping Spots in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Brandenburg

Embarking on a unique camping journey, a group of enthusiasts, led by Svenja and Wolfgang from Lower Saxony, have set off to explore two distinctive nature-preserving camping sites in the picturesque regions of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Brandenburg. The adventure, beginning on June 29, 2025, at 9:30 AM, promises a blend of tranquility, history, and outdoor adventure.

The first stop on this dream journey is at HaffCamp Boiensdorfer Werder, a family-run campsite located north of Wismar. Christoph and his family have taken over this nature-preserving haven, offering a rustic and authentic outdoor experience immersed in nature. Guests can enjoy the tranquility and unspoiled landscape around the Baltic Sea coast, with the campsite boasting a natural pool that offers a view of the Elbe floodplains.

Following HaffCamp Boiensdorfer Werder, the group will journey to Brandenburg, where Svenja and Wolfgang, the new owners of a castle, have transformed its garden into a distinctive camping site. Here, visitors can experience a unique blend of historical ambiance with camping, staying close to a castle and enjoying scenic views and a culturally rich environment that combines outdoor adventure with heritage.

Joining the camping journey are fellow enthusiasts Friso Richter and Lukas Lowack, who have also embarked on a similar adventure. These intrepid travellers have purchased an old castle and created a camping site within its grounds, offering a new destination on the camping dream journey.

Svenja and Wolfgang, having left their old jobs behind, are living their dream at the camping site, building an observatory tent and a mobile sauna by the sea. Their commitment to preserving the natural beauty of the sites, while providing unique camping experiences, is evident in the meticulous care they have taken to ensure the sites remain in pristine condition.

This camping dream journey promises a memorable exploration of two distinctive nature-preserving camping sites, offering a blend of tranquility, history, and outdoor adventure for all who choose to embark on this exciting new adventure.

Other travelers, like Friso Richter and Lukas Lowack, are joining the camping journey, adding another destination to the dream trip with their recently purchased castle converted into a camping site. After enjoying the rustic charm and natural beauty at HaffCamp Boiensdorfer Werder, the group will continue their adventure in Brandenburg, where they can experience a unique lifestyle camping at a castle-turned-campsite combining historical ambiance with the outdoors.
