This initiative, co-financed by changes in the Lower Saxony Water Act (NWG) via sewage charges, focuses on mitigating heavy rainfall effects and adapting to climate change. The project offers a web-based heavy rainfall hazard map and a free consultation service for property owners, providing property-specific information and on-site consultations to assess flood risk and suggest protective measures. A digital guide named Verwalti has been developed to answer simple questions and direct users to the right contacts.
