Greifswald's Vibrant Intercultural Week 2025 Kicks Off September 19

More than 50 organizations and volunteers, along with numerous cooperation partners, have joined forces to create a diverse programme of over 40 events. The festive opening kicks off on September 19 at 3:30 PM at the IGS Erwin Fischer, featuring a captivating Georgian cultural performance and a creative workshop.
The Intercultural Week reflects the rich tapestry of Greifswald's community. Activities range from film evenings and concerts to lectures and sports events, culminating in a communal cooking session. The programme was meticulously crafted by the Network Migration Greifswald and their dedicated partners. Highlights include an intercultural football tournament and opening service, along with enticing film screenings and musical performances.
Many events will take place in the lively districts of Schönwalde I/Südstadt and Schönwalde, ensuring the entire city can participate and enjoy the festivities.
