The Trotzburg Festival, a significant cultural event for the city of Halle, returns for its 2025 edition, promising an exciting blend of music genres and a platform for local talent. Held at the medieval Saaleburg, Seebener Straße 1, the festival runs from June 19th to June 29th, as part of Halle City Museum's summer program.

Jane Unger, Head of the Cultural Department, and Michael Proschek, Curator and Organizer of the Trotzburg Festival, are thrilled about the upcoming event. Four contributions from music schools' choirs, bands, and soloists will be part of a pre-program on select festival evenings. The Girls' Choir of the Singschule Halle will perform on Thursday, June 19th, followed by the Schülerband of the Musik-Etage on Friday, June 20th. The Schöne & Paul E-Drum Company of the Musikschule allegro and the Jellybeans Jazzband of the Musikschule allegro will take the stage on Sunday, June 22nd and Friday, June 27th, respectively.

Moreover, the festival features international, regional, and local artists, including Maxi Seifert, Accordion from the Conservatory Georg Friedrich Handel, who will perform on Sunday, June 29th.
