IRCTC Starts 5th Shri Ramayana Themed Train Tour from July 25 - Explore Dates, Routes, and Ticketing Information
The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced the fifth edition of the Shri Ramayana Yatra train tour, scheduled to depart on July 25, 2025, from Delhi's Safdarjung Railway Station. This 17-day spiritual journey will take passengers across over 30 sacred destinations associated with Lord Ram in India and Nepal.
A Comprehensive Spiritual Journey
The all-inclusive package for the Shri Ramayana Yatra includes air-conditioned rail travel, hotel accommodations, vegetarian meals, road transfers, sightseeing, travel insurance, and IRCTC tour managers. The journey will cover key stops at iconic locations tied to the Ramayana, including Ayodhya, Nandigram, Sitamarhi, Janakpur (Nepal), Buxar, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot, Nashik, Hampi, and Rameshwaram.

The spiritual journey will be conducted aboard the Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train, featuring First AC, Second AC, and Third AC class coaches equipped with modern amenities such as sensor-based restrooms, shower cubicles, restaurants, a kitchen, foot massagers, and enhanced security with CCTV and guards. The package includes 3-star hotel stays, vegetarian meals, guided sightseeing, road transfers, travel insurance, and support for senior citizens.

The cost for the tour is as follows: 3AC - INR 1,17,975, 2AC - INR 1,40,120, 1AC Cabin - INR 1,66,380, and 1AC Coupe - INR 1,79,515.
