Renovated Four Seasons Hotel Doha Resumes Operations after Extensive Upgrades
The Four Seasons Hotel Doha has recently undergone an extensive renovation, reemerging as an unmatched luxury destination in the heart of Doha's capital city.
The hotel's dining and lounge concepts, including Arabica and Seasons Tea Lounge, have been expanded and redeveloped as part of the renovation. In addition, the refurbishment of a space previously held by Il Teatro will be announced later in 2020.
The renovations span an entire redesign of the hotel's bedrooms, suites, guest floors, Lobby, and dining outlets. The Lobby, now an open-plan space, allows light to flood through and boasts views of the Arabian Gulf. Handmade and bespoke Italian furnishings, including a hand blown glass chandelier, adorn the Lobby.
The public areas have adopted a range of greens to evoke the feeling of a garden and new life. The reopened Four Seasons Hotel Doha introduces The Study, an outdoor bar and lounge concept located on a terrace adjoining the Library and Cigar Lounge. The Study serves a selection of cocktails, each with their own story to tell, inspired by the palm trees and the sea outdoors.
The hotel's unique variety of dining outlets has been further enriched with the addition of The Study. A celebrated Michelin star Chef will soon relaunch a refurbished space with a brand new concept.
Four Seasons Hotel Doha, a leader in Qatar's luxury hospitality scene, has also introduced a new outdoor bar and lounge concept, The Study, as part of its renovations.
Doha, Qatar, is establishing itself as a major player in the world of contemporary art. Al Riwaq Art Space hosted the single largest show of Damien Hirst's works at the end of 2018. The National Museum of Qatar, designed by French Architect Jean Nouvel, opened in 2019.
The city's cultural landscape is further enhanced by events such as the Qatar International Food Festival, which will take place from 20 to 30 March 2020. This event features the country's diverse food, beverage, and hospitality offerings, and special culinary experiences in scenic outdoor spaces.
Notable among these events is the hotel's own celebration, World of Nobu, on 25 and 26 March 2020. This event celebrates Chef Nobu's long and personal journey to becoming a global sensation.
The Doha Metro system is shaping up to be a modern marvel and will connect Hamad International Airport to key cultural locations across Doha and beyond. The hotel is set along the picturesque beachfront of the Arabian Gulf and is in close proximity to Doha's cultural landmarks.
The hotel's suites offer Hermès amenities, and the property features state-of-the-art technology. The renovations were led by world-renowned interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon.
As the Four Seasons Hotel Doha continues to evolve, it remains a must-visit destination for luxury travellers seeking an unparalleled experience in Doha.
