The island's outgoing co-managing director is preparing to pave the way for some fresh perspectives in the world of Mainau management. Her brother, Björn Graf Bernadotte, will continue to sail the ship, anchoring his post as managing director.
"It's a whole new ball game, and I ain't gonna lie, it's got me feeling a mix of emotions," Countess Bernadotte said, reminiscing about her 25 swell years on Mainau. "I'm ready to grab the bull by the horns and find myself a brand-new challenge," she added with a twinkle in her eye.
With a million enthusiastic visitors each year, Mainau is more than just one of the top tourist attractions nestled on the shores of Lake Constance.
