Shocking Developments: Unveiling New Details Regarding the Recent Controversies

Feeling stuck on what to write about today with MLK day and everything else going on? We feel ya! Here are some things that might help you regain your groove:

  1. Support the creative world, big or small. Grab a book, check out a play, or buy some merchandise from your favorite indie brand. We're currently snuggled up with "The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches" by Sangu Mandanna and "It's On Me" by Sara Kuburic.
  2. Take some time to appreciate nature, even if it's just a quick stroll around your neighborhood or a intense stare out your window at a beautiful tree. heck, why not plant a tree for $1 if you're feeling adventurous.
  3. Be selective on the news you consume. At this point, we tend to rely on Heather Cox Richardson and Rebecca Solnit.
  4. Reach out to friends with some positivity. Send a text to your BFF, drop off cookies to your neighbor.
  5. Be easy on yourself, too.

In light of current events, we've put our self-guided "Fairy-Tale Heroines" course on sale for the next two weeks, and we're contributing 15% of every enrollment to the ACLU, an organization that champions immigrant rights, trans justice, and reproductive freedom.

Now, we're not ones to brag, but this course is kinda a big deal. We dive into tales from India, Venezuela, England, the Philippines, Nigeria, Japan, Iraq, and indigenous stories from the US, among many others. It's all about courageous heroines winning respect, recognition, and their own happily ever after.

If the course doesn't fit into your budget right now, you can catch the recording of our "Be Your Own Fairy-Tale Heroine" workshop we held last week for free by signing up right here. You'll gain instant access to the curriculum page where the recording is, along with a few other perks.

We hope this brings a bit of sparkle to your day.
