The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation has been a key supporter of this practice, currently funding the program on a temporary basis for 10 years. This sustained support has allowed TPWIC to reach and benefit numerous tribes and Urban Indian Organizations across the United States.

With its recent funding, TPWIC continues to empower 35 tribes and Urban Indian Organizations, investing an average of $150,000 per recipient.
