United Airlines debuts a new premium business class accommodation titled Polaris Studio.
United Airlines Unveils Luxurious New In-Flight Experience
United Airlines is set to elevate its in-flight experience with the introduction of the United Polaris Studio, luxurious suites on its Boeing 787-9 aircraft. The airline has invested over $150 million in onboard catering and cabin upgrades to enhance passenger comfort and service.
The new cabin interiors feature digital seat control, wireless charging, Bluetooth connectivity, high-quality materials such as wood paneling and wool-blend upholstery. Passengers can choose between window seats with enhanced privacy or aisle-facing suites for couples in the regular United Polaris Business Class seats. The United Polaris Studio Suites, located in the first row of each business class section, offer eight spacious, fully flat lie-flat seats with 25% more space than regular Polaris seats. Each suite features sliding doors for maximum privacy, a companion seat, and a 27-inch 4K OLED screen.
Polaris Studio guests can enjoy an exclusive tapas selection, curated snack boxes, and an extensive wine list featuring Heitz Cellar, Shafer Vineyards, or Domaine Serene. Services on the United Polaris Studio Suites include an amuse-bouche with Ossetra caviar, a champagne service with Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé, and amenity kits with luxury skincare products from Perricone MD.
The regular United Polaris Business Class seats also receive an upgrade, offering suites with sliding doors and 19-inch 4K screens. United Premium Plus also receives an upgrade, offering more comfort, larger screens, wireless charging, and integrated reading lights in dividing walls. A grab-and-go area is available in the Polaris class on United Airlines flights.
Personalized service is being significantly enhanced on United Airlines flights. Around 30 of these new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners are expected to be integrated into United Airlines' fleet by 2027. The first aircraft of the United Elevated Interior are expected to be delivered by the end of 2025, with planned routes from San Francisco to Singapore and London in 2026.

Free Starlink internet is being offered to MileagePlus members on United Airlines flights, adding to the enhanced in-flight experience. The expanded entertainment system and the beloved ice cream cart concept, now featuring rotating flavours from Tillamook, remain in the regular United Polaris Business Class seats.
With these upgrades, United Airlines is positioning itself as a leader in premium in-flight experiences, offering passengers a comfortable, luxurious, and enjoyable journey.
