United States tourists are invited by Croatia to unwind and relish the experiences
The Croatian National Tourist Board (CNTB) has launched a new global promotional campaign called "Find Your Pomalo," encouraging tourists to embrace relaxation, culture, and authentic local experiences in Croatia. This campaign will be active in all of Croatia's key international tourism markets until the end of August 2025, and it is being promoted exclusively via TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
To experience the "Pomalo" lifestyle as part of the campaign, you can visit these stunning viewpoints in Croatia:
1. **Providenca Thematic Viewpoint, Mali Lošinj** Overlooking the Cres-Lošinj archipelago, this viewpoint offers breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea and surrounding islands. It's the perfect spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy the serene atmosphere that embodies the "Pomalo" lifestyle.
2. **Purkin Kuk Viewpoint, Hvar** This viewpoint is accessible via a challenging but beautiful trail run. The scenery is stunning, with pines and the scent of cow parsley creating a tranquil atmosphere. It's a great place to practice "Pomalo" by slowing down and taking in the beauty of nature.
3. **Vis Island** While not specifically a viewpoint, Vis Island offers a laid-back atmosphere with stunning beaches, delicious local wine, and seafood. Enjoying sunset dinners on a terrace overlooking the sea is a quintessential "Pomalo" experience.
4. **Other Islands and Coastal Areas** Places like Dubrovnik and other islands along the Croatian coast offer a mix of fairytale-like streets and the sparkling Adriatic Sea, providing the perfect backdrop for embracing the "Pomalo" lifestyle.
Other notable locations promoted as part of the "Find Your Pomalo" campaign include the Vivora Gora, located on Brač, the highest peak of all Adriatic islands, offering views of the famed Zlatni Rat beach and hiking trails. Srđ Hill in Dubrovnik, accessible by cable car or foot, provides a panoramic view of the Old Town and the shimmering Adriatic Sea, especially at sunset.
However, it's important to note that the CNTB does not manage or own the Biokovo Skywalk, Providenca Thematic Viewpoint, Our Lady of Loreto Viewpoint, Vivora Gora, or Srđ Hill.
To truly immerse yourself in the "Pomalo" experience, consider participating in the Croatian National Tourist Board's campaign by sharing your own slow moments using the hashtag #FindYourPomalo on social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. Kristjan Staničić, Director of the CNTB, invites everyone to join the campaign via social media and share their #findyourpomalo moments. The campaign invites tourists to come, enjoy, and truly indulge in a vacation.
Visit Providenca Thematic Viewpoint in Mali Lošinj for a scenic vantage point overlooking the Adriatic Sea, where you can embrace the "Pomalo" lifestyle by finding relaxation and enjoying the tranquil atmosphere. Additionally, explore the home-and-garden attractions of Croatia's islands, such as Vis Island, where you can take in the beauty of nature while savoring local wine and seafood, embodying the "Pomalo" ethos of slowing down and finding enjoyment in simple pleasures.
